Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients (except carrots) in small bowl. Adjust flavors as needed. Add carrots to a large bowl, adding mixture in part to coating completely (you may have some vinaigrette leftover, depending on your taste).
  2. Refrigerate for at least two hours or up to 2 days, allowing flavors to meld.

  1. Put all ingredients except almonds and sesame seeds in a serving dish and toss.
  2. Spread almonds and sesame seeds on top before serving.
  3. Dress with Sesame ginger dressing.

Instructions
  1. Boil 4 cups of water with a pinch of salt
  2. When the water boils, turn off the stove and place the quinoa.
  3. Cover the pan and let it sit for 30 - 45 minutes (The grain will absorb the water)
  4. Cool it down (usually leave in refrigerator overnight)
  5. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Quinoa is high in fiber, protein and has a low glycemic index. These properties have all been linked to weight loss and improved health. Try your quinoa salad that will also help you in balance your weight!

  2. Toss with red onions, sliced oranges and dried cranberries
  3. Mix olive oil and squeezed lemon in a separate bowl to make dressing
  4. Dress salad, and toss
