Instructions
slice off the top, stem side, of the apple and then slice the apple into thin rounds, somewhere between 1/8'' to 1/4'' thick. a mandoline slicer works best so they are all the same thickness.
remove the seeds, or the whole core. peel can be left on or taken off.
toss the sliced apples with sinnamon and sugar (optional) and arrange in a single layer in your dehydrator or onto a parchment paper or lined baking pan.
Dehydrator: turn the dehydrator to 135*F. allow the apples to dehydrate for 6-8 hours or until they are dried and as crisp as you want them to be.
Oven: preheat the oven to 200*F. bake the apple slices for 1 hour, then flip them and allow to bake for another 1 to 2 hours until the chips are no longer moist. flipping occasionally.

Banana Coconut Cream Pie

Instructions
Crust:
blend in Cuisinart until well mixed but may not be totally smooth
cover the bottom of a pie man with dried, shredded coconut
press crust into pan and up sides (Optional: put in dehydrator at 105*F for 30 minutes)
place crust in refirgerator
Filling
blend until smooth in cusinart or blender.
pour into crust and place in refigerator and let sit overnight

blend all ingredients until smooth. if using frozen raspberries, enjoy right away. or, if using fresh raspberries, chill the mixture in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

The following recipe is from Ani's Raw Food Detox. Superfood brownies are the perfect workout food fuel for my climb today. They can stay out of the fridge, and travel well. these brownies are my homemade energy/ protein/ superfood bar.

process walnuts, cacao, salt. then add dates to bind together. I will sometimes roll into balls but this time i pressed it into a lined pan and sliced "bars". i topped with cacao nibs (for extra energy) and goji berries (for added vitamin C and antioxidants too)
