Filling Instructions
  1. Toss sliced apples with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and set aside
  2. Places chopped apples, dates, raisins, cinnamon, and remaining tablespoon of lemon juicier food processor fitted with "S" blade and process until smooth
  3. Remove from food processor and mix with sliced apples
Crumble Topping Instructions
  1. Place nuts, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a food processor with "S" blade and process until coarsely ground
  2. Add raisins and dates, and process until mixture resembles coarse crumbs and starts to stick together. Don't over-process
  3. To assemble crisp, press 1/2 cup of crumbles topping into pie plate
  4. Spread apple filling on top using a spatula
  5. Using your hands, knead pieces of remaining 1 1/2 cups of crumble topping until they stick together
  6. Lay these pieces of topping on apple filling to form a cobbled appearance, allowing some of filling to peek through
  7. Chill at least 1 hour and serve at room temperature

  1. slice off the top, stem side, of the apple and then slice the apple into thin rounds, somewhere between 1/8'' to 1/4'' thick. a mandoline slicer works best so they are all the same thickness.
  2. remove the seeds, or the whole core. peel can be left on or taken off.
  3. toss the sliced apples with sinnamon and sugar (optional) and arrange in a single layer in your dehydrator or onto a parchment paper or lined baking pan.
  4. Dehydrator: turn the dehydrator to 135*F. allow the apples to dehydrate for 6-8 hours or until they are dried and as crisp as you want them to be. Oven: preheat the oven to 200*F. bake the apple slices for 1 hour, then flip them and allow to bake for another 1 to 2 hours until the chips are no longer moist. flipping occasionally.

  1. in a food processor, combine all ingredients and sweeten to taste. add enough nut butter/ tahini to bring the mixture together. for the mixture into desired shapes and dehydrate overnight or eat as is.
