A Journey to Vibrant Health Awaits
Transform Your Life with Eat to Thrive
Join our 10-week online program to embrace a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle, fostering mindfulness and vitality. Classes begin Thursday, September 17, on Zoom from 6:30 – 8:00 PM EST.Â
Our Mission and Legacy
Eat to Thrive strives to prevent obesity, chronic disease, and malnutrition through the education and advocacy of healthy living. This is manifested through a four-pronged approach. Firstly, Eat to Thrive, a 10-week course that gives the option of certification as a health educator.
Secondly, Healthy Living at Home, which offers clients Eat to Thrive graduates to prepare their meals, help them optimally organize the home environment, teach them to sprout and live according to the principles of the Hippocrates Health Institute.
Inclusive in the program is an option for consultation and a buddy system available online or in-person depending on location.
Renowned in person lecturers speak and answer questions throughout the 10-week program. Throughout the course, participants have access to a vast library of resources including, but not limited to, 26 recorded lectures, the Eat to Thrive textbook, and a series of videos and texts.

Our Journey Through Time
Since our creation in 2008, Eat to Thrive has been on a mission to transform lives through plant-based nutrition and holistic wellness education. Here’s a look at our milestones:
Note: Eat to Thrive is a product of our nonprofit Real Kids Real Food. It was originally made for the parents of Real Kids Real Food, but now has expanded to cover everyone!
2008
Foundation Laid
Betsy Bragg took over as Executive Director of what the nonprofit use to be called “Optimum Health Solution”, and renamed the nonprofit to “Real Kids Real Food Inc.”, based in Massachuetts.
2012
Local school programs
Betsy expanded Real Kids Real Food to local Massachuetts schools and communities to teach kids the importance of healthy foods and exercise.
2012
Introduction of Eat to Thrive
Eat to Thrive was formed as the “adult version” of Real Kids Real Food, teaching adults in person how to overcome cancer and other sympoomps while also teaching how to eat healthily using Wheatgrass and sprouting.
2020
Virtual Transformation
In response to the 2020 pandamic, RKRF and ETT both transitioned online to expand our impact to larger communities. Now in 2026 we are looking to once again partner with schools to offer a Real Kids Real Food program in-person for kids.

Our testimonials
“I’ve had a total of 11 cardiac events in my life. I literally was on the cusp of death. I changed to a plant-based diet through the Eat to Thrive method and I’ve seen astounding results. I haven’t had a heart attack in 3 years and Im trying to make sure more people can live as healthily as I am and I want them to play golf with me four times a week.”
“What sets this course apart is its hands-on approach. Each week, we learned to prepare new recipes, from sprouting to dehydrating and the immense benefits of drinking wheatgrass juice. Everything was geared towards optimal living and nutrition. The knowledge gained here laid a solid foundation for our subsequent experience at the Hippocrates Wellness for their ‘3 Week Transformation Program,’ in West Palm Beach, FL., allowing us to maximize the benefits of both programs.”

“Eat to thrive is a course that is essential for anyone interested in wellness and nutrition that every person can benefit from. For those who want to take control of their own health and overall well-being, this course provides the building blocks to do so. Many people (like myself) who have had or may currently be challenged with serious health issues have recovered. Embracing the techniques taught in this course will not only help you recover but will teach you how when faced with life’s challenges you can continue to live and thrive.”

“Eat to Thrive was an eye-opening experience for me. I thought I had been living a healthy lifestyle for over 20 years and learned that there was a better way to approach good health and nutrition. Each week there were new things to learn, reflect on and move into action. Some came easier than others, but I am still pursing the lessons. Each of the presenters brought their special gifts to the sessions, their experiences and dedication to share with others was greatly appreciated.”

“I started the course with one goal and that was to get off junk food and ice cream. This was
achieved by week four, the rest of the course was just a bonus. The recipes presented were
helpful and the guest speakers were wonderful. Â Each brought a unique approach to life and
health. I would encourage anyone reading this to take the course. Sometimes jumping into the deep
end of the pool is what it takes to make a lasting change in life.”
